Does your IPhone get random political message texts?

Keep getting texts from like “Working America” or something?? I don’t know why or how they have my number, but they send these political message texts to me?? How do I tell them to please shut up and don’t bother me?

If you signed up to vote where you live, that is how they got your information. In some areas of the US, getting a driver's license, getting an apartment/house, gets you on the rolls for voting info, same for where you work, if they are into the unions. All those things give them free access to contact you.

To get them to stop, you have their contact info, you need to find their numbers/physical addresses and tell them to stop.

When I got notices for change of address, vote by mail, driver license updates etc, I always made sure that I was not auto opted in for anything. And so far, I don't get political spam at home or by phone. No flyers, text or calls. And I have had my cell number since 1992. And so far, on my main email address, it does not get any spam (political or otherwise),b and have had it since 1994.
