Has true feminism (the total degradation and inhuman treatment of men) changed much since the Titanic?

"Women and children first" is chivalry, not feminism.

None of us here today has a clue what happened on the Titanic.  When people are in life or death situations I doubt feminism plays into peoples actions one iota.  Men have always made more self sacrifices than women. This is why the military, firemen, police officers, men who run into buildings to save others - men always outnumber women in putting their lives on the line.  (Even on the other side of the coin, suicide bombers perhaps). I’m not at all convinced what happened on the Titanic has anything to do with feminism.  I think this is how people are driven to act out of some deep-seated biological motivation. 

Saving children and fertile women is the best way to continue our species.  It’s also argued that elderly, or non-fertile, women play a significant role in childcare, since women go through the menopause as a protective measure so they can look after children in a grandmother’s role, Mothers would die in childbirth more often than they do now. Nature wants women to play a major role in raising the next generation. 

Just wanted to address that part of the question. Clearly you have your beliefs, which personally I disagree with but hey-ho. I don’t think you want to hear from those who disagree with you. 

You misunderstand feminism.  Feminists don't seek the degradation or inhuman treatment of men.  They just don't care about men at all.  Any harm done to men is purely incidental to them gaining what they want for themselves.  ie it is motivated by pure selfishness, not by evil.

Feminists love to tell random, unaligned men what the definition of true feminism is.  But they NEVER hold the misandrist prominent feminists to that same definition.

Why don't feminists go to The Guardian, New Statesman, or The Sunday Telegraph magazine and shout down all the man-hate that prominent feminist Julie Bindel espouses as feminism?  None of that has anything to do with any "Political, Economic and Social equality of the sexes". 

Why is it always important to "correct" all sorts of men in non-power positions about their conception of feminism ... but allow the public misandrists who call themselves feminists to run with their unfettered man hate?  Why no call out of Jessica Valenti who "bathes in male tears"?  What about the >10 million monthly visitors to the openly misandrist website Jezebel?  What about the viral retweeting of #KillAllMen that so many feminists went along with for so many years?

Clearly "true feminism" IS the what the prominent misandrists feminists stand for.  Most other self-proclaimed feminists just seem to be misandrist-apologists, who show us the definition of classic feminism only to shut us up while they allow the misandrist feminists of today to say and do whatever hateful things they like under the name of outdated, classic feminism.

True feminists want Political, Economic and Social equality.  Nothing more 

You need to go back to trolling School, cos' you totally suck at it.  The treatment you describe is happening in the Middle East, but you got the gender wrong, it's women that are being subjected to this form of sexism and not men, this has never ever happened to men not in our human history, and is unlikely to ever happen.  Women tend to have better morals and better respect towards other humans, than many men do!

I guess you would like a society that is similar to what goes on in some Middle Eastern countries where women are totally subjugated. That means they are not allowed to make their own choices, not allowed to get an education, and not allowed to have paid employment. They are the property of their fathers until they are married off and then they become the property of their husbands. Is that what you want?

Yes men having to die is true sexism. But also important for biological survival of the species.
