If you were given 74 million dollars and told you could only spend it on something that would benefit your community. What would you..?
spend it on.
Good to know basic human decency still exists.
I, however, would choose a more direct approach to
"betterment". I would offer a million dollar bounty on every brain dead racist republican who voted for trump.
For the benefit of
of all decent human
beings.
Mind your business
@da Russian. Btw,
racist white privledge and body cams are why its so goddamned bad.
Your two cents worth is way over priced.

I would start asking non-Whites how much they would need to be paid in order to want to live around their own people in their own country.
May be able to clean one city up a bit with that.. Would probably have to offer them about £15,000 per head to leave, which could see about 5000 less of them. Which would definitely be an investment & benefit for my people in our community.

I'd spend it on a 10 year program to improve mental health treatment for those who need it.
Or maybe AR-15s for every law-abiding adult.

My community needs so much work it would be easy. I suppose I would do the Jimmy Carter thing.

I'd like to see a farm in the outskirts of the nearest large city that is meant to provide work for the homeless...as well as housing (decent, like apartments) and health care.
Keeping in mind that not all homeless are capable of such work, it could help fund a smaller "group home" type environment for those too physically or mentally disabled to work.
I have other ideas..but I think that would be a good one.
We don't have as many homeless in my state as are in some, but it'd be nice to give them a place that gives them a sense of self worth..the lack of it helps fuel the addiction problems many of them have.
Being homeless can be especially dangerous if it's way too hot or cold, not to mention the other dangers inherit in that kind of life.
People of the city get fresh meats and vegetables, less homeless on the streets, and the ones that are in better circumstances than a homeless shelter.
Sounds like a good trade off.

I'd build an enormous house with a swimming pool and tennis courts and twelve bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms.
This would help my community several ways. First, I'd pay a small fortune every year in property tax. Secondly, I'd need at least a dozen servants--chambermaids, gardeners, a chef, and private cops to walk the perimeter with shotguns. So there'd be less unemployment in my town. Finally, people would walk past and show it to their friends who came from out of town. "That's where the richest man in town lives!"
