In DMV, who makes the age requirements for driver licenses (you need to be 18 for motorcycle license, which is stupid)?

- ron hLv 71 week agoYour state legislature made that law. DMV can't change it, no one AT DMV can change it. The end.
- artherLv 52 weeks agowhy is it stupid? Because you are a stupid kid? If you are under 18 who pays for the damage you do? To hard to sue a pathetic child under 18.
- ?Lv 72 weeks agoSad you live in such a behind the times place. In my area to get a learner's driver's licence you must: be 14 years of age. If learning to drive a motorcycle, you must be 16 years of age. Maybe you should move to South Dakota, North Dakota or Montana. WHO decides? The law makers. Write your representative to express your concerns.
- Anonymous2 weeks agoI agree, they should make the minimum age 26
- ?Lv 62 weeks agoThe head of the DMV and the state legislators decide those rules (laws). Grammar matters. Yours is pathetic

- Anonymous2 weeks agoLet's figure this out together. DMV is a State agency. Who controls the State? Government officials. There, problem solved.
- jimanddottaylorLv 72 weeks agoThe DMV just uses the laws that your state government sets. If your grandmother thinks that it will keep her grandchild safe to raise the motorcycle age, then she will vote accordingly.
