Partial blindness during Migraines ??

For the last 7 years whenever i get a maigraine, i also go blind in my left eye only. My eye will twitch then get blurrier and blurrier until its just grey or sometimes white. Does this sound familiar to anyone ? My friend keeps telling me to see a doctor but i never got around to it and my vision comes back after about 20 mins and i feel fine.
