Probably start by recommended an eye drop to help with that and to call him back if the eye drop doesn't help.
There are many eye drop options that you can buy without a prescription. He will probably start by recommending one of those for when you feel like your eyes are too dry. If that doesn't help, then he will probably check for other issues.
