what are the "Secret ingredients" that "True Green" lawn care company puts on their lawns to make them so green and lush looking?

i mean besides fertilizer...obviously. do they also put some other stuff down? why, how they are able to get grass to shoot up and look lush even on rocky, barren and uneven soil?

Update:

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE THEN OF HAVING NICE TOPSOIL PUT DOWN ON A NEW LOT WHEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SPREAD OUT SOME OF THESE CHEMICALS TO BALANCE THE PH AND ADD NITROGEN TO THE SOIL?

A cocktail of deadly chemicals that poisons the soil and kills pets.

Have you ever noticed that there are never any OLD Chem Lawn employees?

    There's a reason for that

Aside from the fertilizer, they are using iron sulphate.

For fun, get a bag of Ironite.

In very large letters write something on your lawn with it. At least 4-6 inches wide when making the letter thickness (think magic marker vs ink pen for width)

In a week or two, you can easily see what you wrote!

Great for pulling a prank on someone LOL

Epsom salts can help on lawns too, but binds the phosphorous for a while.

    Fun fact:

clean human urine has many of the things plants need to grow, and is bioavailable (meaning it doesn't need soil bacteria to break it down for plants to take up the nutrients).

Just be sure to mix it 10 parts water to one part CLEAN urine.

Clean meaning no infections, no drugs. Alcohol is OK. Tobacco is OK. Weed maybe not so much.

    Fun fact #2:

Ancient Egyptians used to use animal blood as fertilizer.

    Fun fact #3:

American Indians used to dig a hole, toss a fish in it, then 5 seed kernels, the cover it.

    Fun fact #4:

People who eat a good portion of red meat have a substance excreted in their urine that can deter animals. Vegan's urine attracts those animals. Or does nothing either way.

    Last fun fact:

If we took all the feces our politicians spew daily, we could compost that and fertilize the world!

It's high nitrogen and high iron.

Iron sulphate on its own is sometimes sold as "lawn greening solution". You dissolve the crystals in water and water it on, and it makes the grass greener (iron is an ingredient in chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants), and has the bonus effect of killing moss.

    Just high nitrate fertiliser.

It's the same stuff as often used on farm cereal crops, it makes them grow very fast.
