We’re there any famous people who used this site?
I’m sure trump posted regularly on the politics section anonymously but other than that were there any legit famous people who were on here? Like celebs for example?

Many celebs log online every day; chances are that chat buddy you have known for the longest IS a famed celebrity.
I was told last year ( by a Yahoo online logistics employee ) that there are MANY CELEBS who discreetly present their PATRIOTIC American views AGAINST SOCIALISM on YA. That's something I find quite shocking.

I am sure there were / is , even famous people have questions they want answered by the general public. Plus they know asking anyone who knows them , they will get a biased answer. They know chances are they will be answered to favorably, and that whoever knows them will not give a negative answer.
Why people are like that with a celebrity, would be a good question . I don't see why they are treated the way they are, except that they do have a common touch and a universal appeal. Maybe the common people think that will rub off on them . For whatever that is worth.

Back when Yahoo owned the company, there were some well known people who would post, occasionally. That hasn't happened in many years (at least not that we know of).

The answer is yes. There were famous people who have been on Answers during its early years. Here's more information on what you asked about:
Several celebrities and notables have appeared on Yahoo! Answers to ask questions. These users have an "official" badge below their avatar and on their profile page. During the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama, and Mitt Romney posted questions on Yahoo! Answers, in addition to YouTube. In an awareness campaign, "UNICEF Up Close 2007", nine UNICEF ambassadors asked questions. The launch of Answers on Yahoo! India included a question from A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the President of India at that time. Other guests have included international leaders (Queen Rania of Jordan, candidate for United Nations Secretary-General Shashi Tharoor), Nobel Peace Prize laureates (Al Gore, Muhammad Yunus) and other international activists (Bono, Jean-Michel Cousteau), intellectuals (Stephen Hawking, Marilyn vos Savant), and numerous other celebrities.
