  • Running to and from rugby practice and the gym?

I am starting up training again for rugby and we have practices twice a week. My gym and my rugby practices are both the same distances away from home 5km in one direction. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to run to and from training and rugby practices?

  • Is it ok to only have 8hrs of down time a day?

I am a university student who feels like her life is getting out of hand as I can't seem to get a grip on my life. I was wondering since I do not have much things to do outside of school, working out, and house chores if I should only give myself about 8hrs a day of time to relax/sleep a day? so this means that I would be getting up at 6am and not stopping doing everything I need to do in a day until 10pm at night.

Here is how my average school schedule works out to be as all of my classes online. Most days of the week I have classes that fall between 7am and 4pm then after that I go workout, do chores and have dinner all before 8pm. It is the hours between 8pm and 10pm that are spent strictly on homework most nights or on non school nights it is spent doing more chores and cleaning. After 10pm it is time to get ready for bed and then either relax or sleep as I have to get up again the next morning at 6am.

Is this a reasonable way to schedule my daily life? On the weekends that is when I run errands and do the bulk of my study and chores.

  • Is it not good to wake up at 4am and go to bed at 11pm?

I am a university student who even though I have online classes I still have to get up early to get everything done in a day. I tend to either have classes or work between 8:30 am and 3:30pm 7 days a week so the only time I have to get what I need done in the day for study, workouts and chores around the house is either early in the morning or right after work/school. If I do not have to go out and run arrens then I will usually do house cleaning work and other non school or work work in the mornings from 6am to 9am. I do normally workout after school/work and before dinner from about 3:30pm or 4pm to about 6pm. The thing is that I tend do at least min once a week of a morning workout insead of an afternoon workout so that I can get groceries and what not I need while the stores are open. my evenings after dinner are most days of the week my only time I have to get study and homework done if I do not have free time to do it between classes. Here is a ruff schedule.

4am wake up and morning routine

    5:30 breakfast

    6am chores, homework, or workout

    9am class or work

    3:30 workout or arrens

    6:30 Dinner

    7:30 Study/Homework

    10:30 Bedtime

    11pm lights out

  • Is it good to alternate circuit sets with Cardio? ?

I want to start doing cardio between set of my strength workout. For instance I want to start running/jogging on the treadmill for 15 min after each set of this:

    20 cross chops

    6 push-ups

    20 cross chops

    6 lunges each leg

    6 side lunges each leg

    6 lunges each leg

    6 sit-up punches

    6 crunch kicks

    6 sit-up punches

I want to be able to alternate between the strength and cardio at least three times. I will not forget to add in a warm up and cool down don't worry.

  • Meal Planning and advice?

Hi I am a university student who works 4 days a week and I need help with nutrition and meal planning. The big thing is that with work I work each time just the min amount of hours were I am not aloud to take breaks so this means I have to skip meals. Twice a week I have to miss dinner and twice a week I skip lunch.

I also workout 2 times a week over the dinner hour and thus have to have a later dinner on those days so along with nights I work I always need a snack between work/exercise.

How should I be sorting out my meals throughout the day? should I just be having three proper sized meals or should I be having all meals when I can have them and make sure I have snacks (small meal)? Or should all my meals be the same size that I have and how many should I be having (3 to 6 meals)?

By The Way: I am trying to lose weight/fat and to have more definition

  • What is the best form of cardio?

I have three different kinds of cardio I can do in my area based on what I own and wear I live. What would be best to do running/jogging, jump rope or cycling?

I do have 7km trail right next to my house that I use either jogging or cycling and a good place to do jump rope. I really do want to find some kind of cardio that I could do daily. I have found that I could do jump rope for as long as needed/I set for myself. I found that if I cycle the trail I can do it in around 45 min but if I jog the trial it would take me anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. I have only walked the trail and found that i defindinally do it in 2hrs then. Please let me know what your thoughts are thanks

  • Is it ok to make kids write lines as a punishment?

My kids are at the age now we’re they can read and write. I want to find a good way to punish them for every wrong actions. I was wondering if making them write lines for 30 min will help them learn the wrong they have done? I know that one of the unintended upsides to making them write lines is that they would be working on their hand writing at the same time they are learning what they did wrong.

  • Should I be working out every chance I get? Or only when I can workout at 9am?

My gym is open 0600-2100 Monday to Thursday, Friday 0700-2000, and weekends 0800-1800. I am not much of a morning persons.

Depending on the day I work either 1000-1800, 1200-close(2200-2300), or 1400-close(2200-2300)
