My partner and I would like to learn Spanish as quickly as possible but it just doesn’t seem to stick. We were advised to listen to Spanish songs and watch our favourite tv shows and listen to our favourite music in Spanish but when I have no idea what they’re saying how is that helping me learn?

My partner and I want to move permanently to Spain. This is not something we have decided overnight. We do not speak Spanish yet but we will learn. We would like to get advice on how to find work for English people when we go out there. Googling for jobs is not giving us very good information. Our jobs in the UK are prison officers. My current idea for work in Spain is to become a carer for the elderly. We’d really appreciate any advice people can give for relocations, renting a home and finding work.

I have a springer spaniel/poodle and he's about 10-11 months old. We used to put him in his crate when we went out but I prefer to let him roam the house but if I leave anything around I will walk into chaos. If there is washing on the side it will be on the floor when I get home and he always chews shoes! One day I came home and half the bed sheets had been pulled off. He knows he has been naughty because he cowers his head and I make him sit in his bed for a while but why doesn't he stop? I don't want to have to keep him in his cage and he has plenty of toys!

I want to travel America for a few months but it's far too expensive to rent a car and taking interstate flights would take the excitement away from driving!

I've heard that you can take your own vehicle via a freight ship but I don't know where to begin or how much it would be?

I am 22 and from the UK and I would like to move to America, preferably a country state like Tennessee, and was wondering how you get a mortgage. In the UK it is almost impossible to get one unless you're rich with a big deposit of about £25,000! I love big houses with land and those houses are completely unaffordable here.

I've wanted to learn guitar for ages now and I started having lessons but I gave up after just a few weeks because I just found it so difficult! I'm an impatient person but I just find it so hard to switch from chord to chord. When I try there's always a long pause while I get my fingers on the right strings. Any tips??

Im currently a student in the UK and I have a part time job. I currently have £0 savingsbut I want to travel America in summer 2014 for 2 or 3 months and am wondering how much money (in dollars) I will need. A car rental alone is £2000, but would interstate flights be cheaper? I want to travel to approximately 12 states and I plan to just stay in B&B's. I know someone who has just done it for 1 month and she said she saved £4000 but she went with 3 others so I imagine the expenses were cheaper but I will probably be going alone as I dont have friends has serious about this as myself.
