  • 16 year old siamese cat is sick?

He spends most of his time sleeping in a cardboard box, but seems happy and purrs when given attention. He otherwise has no ambition to do anything, and usually pees on the carpets or the kitchen floor rather than use the litter box.

  • Severe arthritis (osteo and rheumatoid)?

It has started to effect me severely within the past year, and social security has denied me, even though I haven't been capable of gainful employment. Recent medical evidence has shown progression of the disease, but my hearing is at the beginning of January and my attorney has been of little help. Any ideas would be helpful.

  • pain relief for fibromyalgia/ arthritis?

Diagnosed with the above. Also carpel tunnel and tendinitis as well as joint disintegration. No medications I've been using seem to help well. Vicotin helps, as well as noninflammatory meds, but the the vicotin is only a short term solution to ease the current pain. I'm hoping someone who has had been through this may be able to share some advice for me. I cannon't continue using Vicotin beyond this point to mask the problem, as I have used it well beyond the recoccomended dosage and length of time using it , and an using other peoples prescriptions for it. Any help is appreciate. I am using anti-inflamitory meds as well, but still feel really bad when I have to get up in the morning. I made an appointment with a specialist two months from now, and had a refeferral from my PC. My concern is that I may become addiccted to the pain meds before that point, as they are very potent, but I cannot tolerate the the pain. Please only answer if you have any knowlege about this, especiallaly any medical experiencce.

  • mix of meds are causing severe reactions?

Benzododiazimapides, narcotic pain pills, and several other mends. They are causing physical and psychological problems. My close friends pointed this out to me tonight. I just can't stop them all cold turkey. I blush but seem very coherent otherwise. I had blood work done and the diagnosis was fiber mialgia, two different specialists. Also had tests done and the results were reumatoid arthritis and fiber myalgia

  • fibromyalgia and multiple arthresia?

I was diagnosed with these two conditions and a blood disorder that is related to the two and prednisone seems to be the medication that works to help relieve the pain in my back legs, spine, and joints in my entire body. I sufffered so badly two days ago I had to go to the hospital emergency room , and they did blood work. The results so far is a condition with my immunity system, not related to any type of std's, but a rare blood disorder where the immune system attacks the joints. Does anyone with any similar condition have any info you could pass on to me? I can't keep popping pills to kill the pain because Prednisone is a temporary solution, especially in the high dose that is required to be functional and is requiring higher doses to be effective. I need a referral to a specialist, but won't be able to get a referral until monday next week. I have read the drug info and it is not recommended for long term use. Please share any advice only if you have any knowledge if you are familiar with these conditions and what has worked for you. If you are a physicician or pharmacist please don't answer, since it is not allowable to offer medical advice. Just would like to hear from someone who suffers these condtions and could offer

some advice. Thank you and would appreciate any help you could offer.

I've been having bad headaches after this happened, and my vision has been impaired to the point I can't see wall enough to work effectively. I'm thinking of going to the hospital tomorrow and having an MRI + X-ray. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen. Thanks and appreciate any answers.

  • neighbor complaining about generator noise.?

5000KW generator in my Sub cellar, I've used properer hook-up and venting procedures and all electrical is to code. Power went out the other night and she called the police and complained the noise from the unit was too loud and kept her awake. What to do, vent the exhaust out

another place in the cellar? Doesn't matter where I vent it, the sound will still reflect off the other buildings. The other solution is to vent it out to the front of the building facing the sidewalk and main street. Problem is the amount of exhaust pipe I will have to add and I'm not rich enough to install the amount of pipe needed. I'm available vent it on my property along the side of the house to make it safe for people Passenger along the sidewalk. I really think this woman has a problem that she was without power for many hours and I had the generator to run all my lighting, refrigeration, and most appliances. I learned last year when we had the bad ice storm and lost power for over 24 hours, most of my food spoiled, and I decided to install a back-up electrical generation system..

She is probably pissed off because I have power when she doesn't. I also invested in a back-up power system. I like her but she left a nasty phone message on my phone about the generator noise. I will do my best to correct this situation since I like her and she Is a fairly nice person. The only thing that really pissed me off is that that she was going to call the police if I didn't shut it down. I didn't shut it down until I had the main house wiring (minimum) completed and the police said since it was temporary no complaint could be filed befpre 10:00 PM, She is a ***** now and she can shovel her own sidewalk. It would be nice if she cleaned up the front of her house and toook out her garbage, She will shovel the snow herself from now on. She Knows my screen name and a apology is the oly accceptable reccompence,

  • Refilling HP#21 ink cartridge?

Has anyone had success refilling Hewlett Packard ink cartridges? I cannot find any hole in the cartridge body to refill into. I was thinking of drilling a hole just large enough to insert the tip of the syringe. Another issue is the smart chip built into the cartridge, and whether this will make the cartridge unuseable once it zeros out. Please only answers from persons familiar with this model. HP F-300 using #21 and #22 ink cartridges. Thank you.

  • Coverting 1.5hp 3-phase motor to single phase AC (capacitor solution?)?

I have a 1.5hp 220v 3 phase motor driven band saw. I need to run it on a 220v single phase system. The original single phase converter consisted of a 550uF capacitor supplying the third phase winding with the contacts of an NC relay in series with the capacitor. The coil of the relay is from the supply through a resistor to the third phase winding and dropped out when the motor came up to speed. A second 40uF capacitor is from the supply to the third phase winding and is the only capacitor that remains active when the relay opens up (motor is up to speed). I'm looking for a simpler and more reliable solution, as the present circuit is temper mental and old. Replacing the motor is a last resort. Is there a simpler capacitor type converter that can be designed? The saw is only operated intermittently for 10-15 minutes on time, 30-60 minutes off for an 8 +hour period, for a few days a month. It is used for a meat cutting band saw. Any sources, help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • meloxicam, 5 - 15 MG tabs within a 12 hour period, combined with alcohol (moderate). Oxycontin screws me up. ?

Seems to work, but the amount I have to take to get pain Relief is beyond what is recommended. Oxycontin worked well, but I'm worried about the addiction to it. I've gone through 200 of them .
