  Ok so I’ve been working where I am for a year an a few months co worker of mine that just started is getting promoted possibly over myself an he hasn’t done a lot of retail is this favoritism or wtf ?

  Real dollar or fake?

  my shift manager took a dollar out of my drawer because to her it looked fake. I was a little suspicious myself because of the uneven side cut but I do know the "silver certificate "bills are a real thing. So I was wrote up a dollar short because she took it out. Is there any way to know if it would be real or fake? It has a blue seal, apposed to the now typical green, but its also cut uneven ?

  Why is Walmart allowed to sell your pickup order to someone else. ?

  I ordered an item for pickup and when I came to get it in the earliest time frame that was available, they said they were out of stock. If I had known that it could be sold to other people coming in to the store I would have just gone myself on the day it became available. It was a Nintendo Switch, so I’m pretty upset because they are sold out everywhere. Why are they allowed to sell something if it’s already been ordered and paid for online?

  The first port of call should be the store manager.  Just be calm and not accusatory.  Explain that  because you are ill you had to send your daughter to the store.  She didn't get her change and receipt but was too shy to speak up.  You'd appreciate the matter being looked into.  Give the date, approximate time of day, if possible which checkout, and what you bought out of the $50 presented.  Modern cash registers record what was bought for stock control purposes as well as calculate change due.  Between this and the security camera it should be possible to verify the transaction and see if the change was handed over.  Write down all the points you want to raise before calling so you don't get flustered and be polite but firm.  It's easier to get people to do your job if you frame it as constructively putting a mistake right.

  Should I contact the construction company?

  We are trying to get our driveway done and have already talked and chosen a construction company. He told us could start in about a month, then it became at least a month due to weather and I don't know what else, It has now been almost 3 months. His email to me was that he would contact us to when he could start. Should I email him about the timeline of when he's going to start or just wait for a while longer or should I just forget him and hire somebody else. We wanted to get this done before winter so that's why we chose him. All other local companies were booked solid until spring of next year. What should I do and if I email him, what should I say?

  How do Uber Eats drivers get away with stealing people’s food?

  If you have even one incident of missing order or part of order with Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc, do not use them again. Try your local pizza or Chinese, etc, restaurant with their own drivers - much more reliable, usually cheaper, even if they add a delivery charge.

  Cleveland clinic has raised minimum wage to 14$ and I make $ 14.50 will i get a raise too? now i and housekeeping are paid the same.?

  Minimum wage laws are loved by socialists because they feel something is being done. But, as you are discovering, they can be terribly unfair. Just because you and housekeeping are paid the same wage, does not mean you will get more money.

  But far more unfair is the fact that you can now get a minimum wage job at the same rate you are being paid now in preference to someone who has very few other job choices. In San Francisco where there is now a $15 minimum wage, there are university graduates doing that work.
