New kitten and I'm 8 weeks pregnant? Toxoplasmosis? Cat scratch fever?
As I mentioned I'm 8 weeks and I recently adopted a kitten that's not quite 8 weeks. He still needs to get vaccinated. He has been an indoor cat. Anyways he scratched me a lot. One scratch was deeper and it hurts a little. I am just concerned about it. Also I looked online about toxoplasmosis and it's making worried like maybe I should have waited longer to get a kitten. Any advice or experiences? I am waiting to hear back from my doctor. I have not been changing the litter box.

cat food by purina because their stomachs get upset if they eat other type of cat food. Can you'll recommend a good cat food that won't upset their stomachs? I have been feeding them this particular brand for a while.

So i got a kitten and very new to this whole cat dad thing. Before ive only had dogs as pets while i used to live with my parents. however, ever since moving out over 2 years ago i never had a pet of my own until now.
He is about 6/7 weeks old... i got him last week and he's been fun to be around but he is a very active and hyper kitty.
my question is once he gets older will he calm down? cats are usually independent right?
my only issue rn is that he loves bitting my hand and im trying to teach him not to but its an ongoing process lol
he eats solid food, learned to use his litter box on day one. He's very affectionate and loves to cuddle...
but these last 2 days he's been bouncing off the walls lol
ive been buying him toys to keep him busy and i try to put him to bed by 9 or 10 pm. I do put him in my bathroom or else he won't fall asleep if he's with me. I want to let him sleep by me when hes a little older.
At night he doesn't cry at all and sleeps through the night. in the morning ill let him be on my bed but as of late he just gets off and runs around my room.
Anyways so will he always be this hyper? I do want him neutered but idk if this will affect his behavior.
also will catnip help? i heard it can relax them but i also heard it makes them crazy.

So I've been feeding the stray cats in my neighborhood and there's this huge male cat that I plan on having neutered and released back into my yard, but he's a total sweetheart and he has slowly gotten really attached to me, he even let's me pick him up, would it be better for the cat if I have him neutered and find him a home? Or to release him back Into the neighborhood? He seems perfectly happy and I plan on building a cat house for the 6/7 cats that I feed including insulation and blankets/hay but I'd gladly take suggestions. I'd love to keep him in my house but I already have 4 cats

My cat is 15 years old, and has never gone for long drives, or on airplane rides before.
My time to move is coming closer, and im still not sure of the destination, but it will probably be something like a 4 hour plane ride. Im so scared of how he will react and if he will be okay. I dont want him to die of a heart attack or something.. I know it sounds silly, but he gets anxious quickly. So will he be ok?

my father has a cat that is sneaking into his business we could easily seal the hole the cat is coming from but we arent sure if there are kittens hidden somwhere inside and we dont want to risk ending up with dead kittens. ive heard of a spray you can place somwhere and then turn off the lights or use a UV light to show who touched an area.
would that help if we sprayed the hole the cat is coming in from?
and if it does what is the spray called?

I adopted a cat from my local shelter 10 months ago. She is super sweet and never scratches me and she also gets along with my 2 poodles. I do want to mention that she was found abandoned at an apartment complex and was at the shelter 2 months. She definitely was malnourished and VERY scared... she would jump at everything and always seemed to be hypervigilant while eating. She was SUPER SCARED of any movements like doors closing or doors opening, or if i opened cabinets. And if i dropped something on accident or if someone was walking by and she didn't expect it like my sister she would get scared. It did get better over time but she still gets a bit scared about things that are not really scary. I also want to mention she has a broken tail the end of her tail is missing, she was found like that. Idk if an animal attacked her or if she could have been abused:(. Anyways, she lets me carry her for maybe 2 minutes, but she isn't much of a cuddler. sometimes i do wish to hold her for longer and carry her, is there a way that she can grow to like this or not???
