What are alternatives to UK schooling?
I don't really want to home school but at the same time don't want my kid being put into the evil hands of the UK government. I was thinking of moving somewhere else like a non-Marxist country but there all far away there must be better options.

Ive heard a lot of kids are depressed from not being able to go to school.
I find this hard to believe. I mean, what kid actually "wants" to go to school. Just to hang out with their friends, surely, not to learn anything.
I homeschooled my last two years of high school due to bullies, and I loved not going to school.
This is something they have never talked about on the news....the good side of homeschooling.
If your children were having a hard time at school because of bullying and harassment from other kids, do your kids love learning from home?

I've heard kids have gotten depressed and even suicidal because they can't go to school.
Homeschool has been around for ages but I've never heard of any of those kids getting depressed or trying to kill themselves.
I actually homeschooled the last two years of my high school and I loved not being in school. (Too many bullies.)
And I homeschooled before computers were common place.
What kid in their right mind would want to go to school? I think they just want to go to hang out with their friends, not learn.
Does anyone else think these stories of kids getting all depressed and suicidal is a bunch of crap?
There might be a couple of kids who've committed suicide, but they probably just got stir crazy from not being able to go anywhere fun, like the mall.

Hi!
I am 100% for banning homeschooling and here is why. It should be ILLEGAL, no exceptions! If they want to supplement their children's education at home, that is fine, but no homeschooling! The problem with homeschooled children is that they often don't get a complementary education especially on issues such as evolution, sexual education including contraception, acceptance LGBTQ folks, etc., have less opportunities to interact with others and build social skills and relationships. etc. Often times homeschooled children reject common sense science (even Pope Francis has now come out and stated that evolution is real), become homophobic, are at greater risk for STDs and unwanted pregnancy, etc. because their home schooling parents indoctrinate them with nonsense they read in outdated, fairytale books. This is why homeschooling is illegal in many parts of the world. As a Christian, I say that all children must know common senesce science (evolution is a part of that!), contraception/birth control, to accept LGBTQ as human beings and not look down on them, etc. IF parents where actually open minded, then it wouldn't be a problem, However, more often then not, that is not the case. Don't you agree?

The pandemic in the word has scared the authorities at International Airport in Bangkok and they have asked a uni to design a system that would help them to decide what to do with people coming in from African countries that are risk. The Airport authorities has approved the following
specifications for the system:
Input
F = 1 indicates the passenger HAS FEVER.
H = 0 indicates the passenger DOES NOT HAVE a SEVERE HEADACHE.
M = 1 indicates the passenger HAS MUSCLE PAIN.
A = 0 indicates the passenger DOES NOT HAVE ABDONIMAL PAIN.
Output
Q = 1 indicates the passenger should be quarantined
T = 1 indicates the passenger is at RISK and needs to be tested.
G = 1 indicates the passenger is free to go.
Airport authorities consider the following points when designing the
system:
i. A passenger who has FEVER and MUSCLE PAIN and any one of the other two
symptoms (STOMACH PAIN or SEVERE HEADACHE) should be
QUARANTINED.
ii. A passenger who has TWO OR MORE symptoms out of the four should be sent
for testing.
iii. A passenger who does not fall in any of the above criteria is free to go.
a. Using the above specification, prepare a truth table for the system.
b. Using 4 variable Karnaugh-Map method, derive SOP expressions for all of the
three outputs.

I have a 5th and 6th grader who i decided to homeschool this year..we are ready to go back to regular school and i need to create their transcripts..i thought the website Time4learning generated a transcript for us but they only offer a template that i have to fill out...does anybody have transcript i can view or if anyone can send me a link with an example of a 5th or 6th graders transcript? The only ones i find online are of high schoolers...

So my family is constantly fighting and we just have a lot of problems and I’m homeschooled. I’ve been in 7th grade for so long because for a while I didn’t do anything. I feel like such a waste of money and I don’t deserve anything. My brothers are very behind too. 8 and 10 and still in 1st grade. I need someone to tell me it’s going to be okay and that I’ll get through this.
