Given how dangerous the sport of soccer is and how low the salary is that women players get, why do they still play it?
Favourite answer:A lot of it is relative. What would a female soccer player be making out in the "real world?" Even if they did get useful degrees in college, wouldn't the opportunity to travel and play the game you love for a few more years make up for not making as much in a dull office job?
This is a common mindset in all sports. Minor league baseball and hockey is full of guys who want to "chase the dream" for a few years before going back to grad school or getting 'real' jobs. Do you know how many fringe football players get their brains beaten in every day on the practice squad rather than give up on playing?
As for the "danger" part, I don't know of many active 20-somethings that consider the danger of their favorite activities to the point where they chose other activities...and very few people rise to the professional levels if they fear injury more than they feel passion for their game.

Does the women's national soccer team deserve the same pay as the men's soccer team?
Favourite answer:Of course not, if anything, by the numbers the men should make more. The men make much less percentage of what their club generates than the women do, the men just generate hundreds of times more

Football(Soccer) - What do you think of Rapinoe's brash posing?
Favourite answer:The whole American team was brash, and I'm an American sports lover. Pay the team better. Tell Rapinoe to clean up her image and get up when the flag is present.

When the soccer stadium was chanting for equal pay, why didn't they simultaneously demand that their tickets cost as much as men's tickets?
Surely those seats are worth just as much.

I don’t female soccer players deserve equal prize money at the World Cup do you?
Favourite answer:If people aren't as interested in it then they won't get paid the same. There would never be empty seats at a men's world cup. For entertainers it is their popularity with the public that determines their incomes.
Beyoncé and Taylor Swift don't complain that they earn more money than some male singers who aren't as popular.
If feminists want women to be paid more it is simple. They only have to turn up en mass at women's football matches and buy tickets.

Why do people think Celtic wouldn’t do win in the Premier League?
Burnley barely scraped through Aberdeen, Celtic would destroy Burnley.
Also drew twice with Man City in Peps first season.
Celtic would finish 7th in the Premier League.

What do I do?
Okay so I had a soccer game today and when we did lineup, I said “**** off” to a player because she was a ***** all game and I was done with her. I said it a little louder than I expected and she heard it and told her coach, who told my coach. This was after we had a talk about good sportsmanship because the girl I said it to was screaming at the ref and calling him bad names. But then my coach looked so pissed and when she said “you know who you are” she looked me dead in the eye and I don’t know if she was just talking and she doesn’t know who it was or if she was directing it toward me because either the other coach told her it was me or she heard me. I don’t want my coach to hate me forever and I don’t know what to do. Do I leave it alone? Do I apoloize? Do I talk to her about it???? Help?????
