Anyone know if a modem I have using the Intel 536EP v.92 chipset work with Vista?
According to the driverguide site, the 2002 driver works with the beta version, however no confirmation on the final version! I'm thinking I may have to change to a USR modem as they seem better supported from the USR website.

try going to intel and download the driver from their website. any modem will work with windows vista. beta version drivers and software is for testing purpose only. it isn't a complete drivers/software.

Thank you for contacting Intel® Technical Support.
Please note that Windows* Vista drivers for the Intel® 536EP Modem are not available.
Also be aware that Intel® designs modem chipsets they do not manufacture or support modems. For service and technical support for your modem, please contact the modem manufacturer.
