Astra convertible roof failure?

51 plate astra convertible soft top. The power mechanism has stopped working. Does anybody know of where I can find the details of the mechanism and electrics. Not in Haynes.

Update:

Just been in dealers. They confirm it doesn't work. The 12 beep error code? didn't seem to help them

    First try checking the electrics, Starting at the fuse and relay then on to the switch on the centre console if it's none of these it will most likely be the hood motor. I'm afraid the only way to check this is to remove the motor and have it checked.

    This is why I don't and won't ever have a convertible.

    Roof failures or leaks seem to be frequent problem on convertibiles... and can be costly to fix. Your older Astra might not be so bad on the wallet. GL.

    You need the Vauxhall Astra Workshop Guide (with the body section in it).... this is the manual that the mechanics themselves will follow at bodyshop.

    You have been very unlucky, unless you know a friendly expert in convertible expert you are messed up.
