Anyone else decided to remove Google Chrome already?

I've given it just 24 hours and, frankly, it's ****. I appreciate it's in beta testing, yet so is MSIE 8 and I've not come half the issues that Chrome appears to have - check this link as well! http://www.webpronews.com/topnews/2008/09/07/googl...

Yeah, it's no good (yet). I'm sticking with Firefox 3 and Opera until they get the issues sorted out.

What puzzles me is how Google would choose to make such a crappy browser after powerhouses like FF3 came out.

Google Chrome has promise, but the current beta is a disappointment. Look at all the publicity it got! The other posters have already mentioned compatibility and stability problems. I agree. Yes, it is fast. But that's not the only property of a browser. On Windows Vista or XP I like: IE8 beta (some great features for web designers too) FF IE7 Google Chrome Safari is great on a Mac but not on PC. How many iTunes updaters downloaded safari without realizing it? Opera will have a more difficult time now that Google is in the game. One big question: is Google Chrome stealing users away from FF or from IE? It will take a while of loking at web logs to find out.

I've been using chrome since a day before it's public release and have not yet had any problems with it. In fact, I enjoy the speed it loads at and the simplicity of it.

No way!! I LOVE the new browser and I think it's going to kill IE. It's just a better browser all together - and super fast. My favorite things about it is that it runs Javascript code much faster and that makes Google docs so much better!

It's working great for me as we speak, and I'm a die hard Firefox user!

I like it. It's simple, nippy (but nippier than crappy old Internet Explorer) even than Firefox.

I prefer Firefix, but Chrome seems good so far. I like the thumbnail search history. I certainly don't think it's ****. I reserve such a description for Explorer!

i agree that it isn't as good as firefox but give it some time and new add-ons will come available and it will be better. i love firefox and i think that chrome only comes second because it doesn't have add-ons. the browser runs much faster altogether and has a great search bar.

Google chrome is actually really quick and efficient, although one time it did crash. However I really like it's simplicity is only showing you the features that you need.

It works faster on my computer and broadband, maybe it's just certain providers.

I might since it is slower than firefox3
