Have humans fully evolved ?

Evolution is a vastly debated subject. Does evolution even exist as a principle? Is creationism reality? These are just some of the questions based on the subject.

My question to you is, have humans fully evolved or can we expect more changes in the future? Please try to provide links or sources.

The answer is No, humans haven't fully evolved because there is no such thing as "full" or "complete" evolution.

There is no endpoint in evolutionary change. Evolution means change in the proportion (frequencies) of gene alleles in a population - no more, no less than *change*.

And this change (evolution) is continuously taking place, no matter whether it is apparent to our perception or not.

It is easier for us to notice the features that we consider as adaptations (adjustments that evolved in relation to certain environmental characteristics), and the changes to those features that are brought about by natural selection.

So, how does natural selection affect humans now? The human species exists in a natural environment, but it also has its own special "environment" given by culture, so it may be more difficult for us to visualize how natural selection affects each human population (evolution acts at population, not "species" level) or to predict the weight of natural selection in our future evolution.

However, natural selection is not the only force of evolution: mutation, migration, and genetic drift are also happening constantly. It's even harder to predict what changes these forces will bring, because there's a major random element when these forces are involved.

I think complete evolution means having no weakness. When we will be able to live in the water and space for unlimited time, when we don't need food, oxygen or water to live and when our desire of sex dies and we started generating offspring through thoughts only, then we can say we are fully evolved. That means when we become like God, we will be fully evolved. :)

human evolution has reached it's peak. It will continue to evolve, but not necessarily in a good way.

Man no longer hunts for food. (generally)

Man no longer makes his own clothes, house, anything like that.

Computers are making our lives easier and easier, so eventually we will devolve and let computers do everything for us.

Nasty thought, but a large possibility.

I'm a Christian who believes in both creation and evolution. People can be dogmatic about either or both. I am not dogmatic.

I believe in God as the Supreme Being and Creator. I think He used tools He created and the infinite amount of time He has at His disposal to bring about the world we know through the natural forces He controls. This includes evolution, which is observable and can be documented.

Darwin's theory, while a good step toward understanding the Origin of Species and Descent of Man, is flawed in several ways. This is because Darwin--while he grasped the biology involved in the process--did not know or understand the physics and chemistry that influenced it.

To answer your question, no. We are still evolving. There are readily observable changes that have taken place in as short a time as a few centuries or even decades. We are taller, live longer, have better teeth, and are probably more intelligent as a group than our ancestors were. Our descendants will likely continue the process.

As a religious person, I hope this process will draw us closer to God, not further away. I don't have any links. Sorry.

Creationism is a reality in the minds of religious people. There is no scientific proof for creationism (no matter how hard the religious people try to twist facts and fabricate scientific proof for creationism). That doesn't mean that there will never be scientific proof for creationism, but none has been found yet.

Evolution is a fact. There are a tremendous number of examples of evolution. Unfortunately, evolution happens so very slowly that it can't be observed as it happens, but evidence does exist. For example, the recent evolution of MRSA strains of bacteria.

All life on earth, humans included have the potential to continue to evolve. Each life form is subject to mutations that might result in a new strain that is better able to survive in the niche that it lives in.

I believe we can expect more changes. The more knowledge accrued, the better the quality of life for humans. This results in longer life spans, healthier, taller people.

I tried to find a site that supported a fascinating comparison of how the theory of evolution and the bible could be correlated. My high school biology teacher presented it. Something about in the bible the sun is not created until later so the days mentioned could be eons. This is for your interest as I am not sure I believe in the bible, but respect it.

In my opinion, human evolution really do exist, a very good sign of this is by observing human intellect wherein poeple of this generation with same age is more intelligent than the poeple from older generation. We can also observed it from the physical looks of human being !

Gut instinct tells me we will keep on evolving for centuries in probably unnoticeable steps.

Science however will make noticeable steps to change us.

STILL GOING ! To provide a link you need to go to references,

already know this & be studying it, or going to a library to source

all your info, or you could try the one here.

Since i do not do this for study i am reluctant to do the study for you.

I feel we have improved mind not soul. We are animals still and probably will be until god shows us our wrongs,. Most ppl will disagree with me saying they have evolved. well sure u have physically we have adapted to climates etc.... mentally we have evolved from learning, but sadly our souls seem to be stagnant and not growing much. that is why we're here ...not for body or mind but for soul. So start growing by doing all you can do to help. even if it just helping a homeless disabled veteran with a hot coffee or a bag lady with food. or getting them a warm place to sleep. or taking in a stray animal.....................................the list is so long as to how u can make your soul grow that I will let you ponder on what else you can do. the ones who wish to grow will think, the ones who are sheeple will continue on as though nothing will ever effect them. i feel for them, i really do. so lost, in a fake bliss.

Source(s): tons of soul searching, watching social interactions and outcomes, reading, writing, studying, and studying more. I love learning. why ppl do what they do . don't you?
