instead of sitting under melaka tree when he saw a white mousedeer kicking his hunting dog.

Will the state that we now call Melaka is instead named.....ehem...?

He'll probably honor the mousedeer instead of the tree (buat tak tahu aje kat bunga taik ayam tu). Thus the state is called Kancil.

FYI the tree's name is called amalaka in Sanskrit and considered a sacred tree in Hinduism, and Parameswara at that time was still a Hindu. That's why he gave the name Melaka to honor the tree instead of the mousedeer.

maybe he would have named it Tahi ayam.. becoz he is a new comer from Temasek.. to Malaya.. so i dont know whether he knows any malay language or not..
