Anyone out there have an Amazon Kindle 2?

I was thinking of asking my husband to get one for me for my birthday in May. How do you like it? Is it really easy to read from? Can you get most books? How much money do you save on books?

I own one and I like it very much. It is lightweight and trendy looking, and I like to bring it everywhere. I like the text to speech function very much too, it is wonderful that I can "read" books with my eyes and hands free up for other things.

As you should know, Kindle books are cheaper than actual books. There has been some calculation coming out that if you purchased 70 Kindle books, the money saved on books can cover the cost of the actual Kindle reader already.

I'll suggest you to read some review and what actual customers are saying to make up your decision:

I have one and I love it. No glitches so far at all. Yes, Kindle books are cheaper and I've read probably 6 books since I got it and it has performed flawlessly. They used a technology for the screen which makes the feel of reading very much like reading a book. My eyes do not tired even after some long hours of reading. And I can store all my favorite books into this single device, and carry them along with me no matter I go anywhere.

I'll also suggest you to read some actual customer reviews to make up your mind:

For the ebooks, check the bestsellers and you can compare the price.

I'll suggest to check the actual customer reviews of people owning Kindle 2 before making up your decision:
