Hi,

I am Prajwal Neupane originally from Nepal. I have been in England since last 2 years with status of post study skilled worker. I, along with my spouse got invitation for wedding in america I was wondering do I need to go back to Nepal to apply for visa or I can apply it here in US embassy London. And will it apply to all immigrants like student or business purpose.

    You will have to apply for a B2 visitors visa. You can do that at the US embassy.

    It doesn't really matter whether you are a student or work in the UK.

    If you hold a British passport you do not need to hold a visa, the US will issue you a visa waiver tp to 6 months.

    You can apply from the UK. But remember they will base their decision on your country of citizenship, not on your residency in the UK.
