Do Americans ever feel embarrassed that the USA is now seen by much of the world as Israel's 'Boy'?

With each Israeli atrocity being swiftly followed by the USA’s unswerving support and arguments of justification, with no politician of any political complexion seemingly having the guts to even mildly criticise Israel’s actions, regardless of how heinous the crime, I just wondered what ordinary decent Americans feel when they see their leaders emasculated by the Israeli lobby?

Do YA contributors, like me, also find it rather ironic that the USA, a country that has talked much about its ‘War on Terror’, should choose what is tantamount to a terrorist state as one of its closest bedfellows and sponsor them to the tune of some $3bn per year whilst acting as their main apologist?

Update:

**PLEASE NOTE** This is a re-posted question the original having been removed by Yahoo Answers after bowing to pressure from pro-Zionists. It would seem that even on Yahoo Answers, honest debate is stifled by the forbidding of ANY content that is in any way whatsoever critical of Israel. No surprises there then! I would like to thank the many people who had responded to my original question before it was pulled and ask that you watch this space to see just how quickly Yahoo cave-in and remove it again.

Update 2:

Oh and by the way, just to save some of the previous answerers the trouble of having to trot out the same hackneyed and sometimes offensive comments that I hear again and again - and for the record - I am not a Nazi, nor am I an anti-Semite, a racist or a Jew Hater. I am a young man with Jewish lineage of which I am proud who, like many non-Zionist Jews, despair at the dreadful crimes against humanity that are being perpetrated in the name of Judaism.

    1) Why don't you go criticize them instead of criticizing us.

    2) Maybe you can tell us what your current country is so we can point out every failing it has made?

Personally, I don't know a lot about the situation. I don't know the UN Law that governs the attack and whether it was legal or illegal. If it was a legal attack (because of a blockade for example) then should we break UN law to do what? Attack Israel outright? If it was unlawful then how do you know that no one has stated such?

And did your country make an outcry when our two towers were brought down on 9-11-01? If not then how do you feel about your country's inaction at that time? I am very curious.

It may be just how this is written but it seems to be a message of criticism and hate wrapped in a "honest debate".

That is how it comes across.

Whatever you think that you are not , your biased , splenetic diatribe certainly demonstrates your bigotry.

The real tragedy of the Palestinians is the culture of victim hood that both the Arab world and palestinian supporters, like you, have cultivated and kept alive in them , for so many years. But neither of you , have ever really had the best interests of the Palestinians, themselves, at heart. You have each done it for your own selfish reasons.

The surrounding Arab countries have never accepted the state of Israel :they simply want Israel removed from the map.People like you and many of the "aid workers" on those ships ,on the other hand , do it because it gives you a cause ,and a sense of purpose to your lives --if it wasn't the Palestinians , it would be something else.

The "aid workers" on those ships were taking urgently needed aid to the Palestinians .This was their priority , their only priority --Palestinian lives ,supposedly, depended on it. But instead of simply accepting the delay and inconvenience of an Israeli search , the "aid workers" on one of those ships chose to turn it into a bloody confrontation : for them the aid mission itself was clearly not the priority .As the pictures clearly showed , the "aid workers" attacked the Israelis as soon as they boarded. And surprise surprise , the Israeli soldiers finding themselves ambushed ,heavily out numbered and having to fight for their lives , opened fire.

Why do people like you think it was justifiable to attack ,and try and kill those Israeli soldiers , but wrong ,if not outrageous, for those soldier's to defend themselves ?

    Better than bowing to Islamists.

But at the end of the day, "much of the world", as you put it, can kiss the fattest part of my azz.

(It's that part right in the middle, if you were wondering...)

Edit- Oh, how charming, a self loathing Jew.

I'm pretty sure it was my answer that got your question pulled. Too much truth doesn't fare well on this site.

Lies from Sunni Arab apologists and revisionists.

Source(s): "Yahoo" doesn't remove questions - it's an automatic system, and questions are removed usually for people saying really dumb, insulting things like this one. Repost it all you want - it will still be b******t.
