eine grosse Vielfalt an Läden in der näheren Umgebung
Be careful with the declination. If before the "eine" there is "es gibt" then it's ok
if there es "da sind" it's ok too
if there is "mit" then it should be mit einer grossen...

Translates back as: a wide range of shops in the area.
Means the same thing.
