I there any way to access Yahoo without using Google or Bing?
I find Google new lack of privacy policy unacceptable and do not like Bing and would like to continue to use Yahoo for e-mail, but can't find a server that doesn't use Google or Bing

I have Yahoo as my home page and connect via Windows Internet Explorer and rarely use Google as a search engine and never use Bing. Having Yahoo as my home page gives me access to their email and other services.
Good Idea to tell them you object. Verizon sent out a notice that had small print and was hard to read telling subscribers that were going to sell your email info to other web browsers unless you object. So I opted out of that right away.

sure, merely type in in the address line at the top of the page: http://www.yahoo.com/ ...and then the next time you get into google it should have remembered that website and all you'd start to type in in the address line is the y and the yahoo.comm website will come up for you.
Once in the yahoo.com website on there somewhere is a sentence that says "make Yahoo your home page" so click on there and say ok. The next time your computer starts up the first page it goes to will be the yahoo.com page.

Google is not blocked on China's 3G networks -- not sure why you are having trouble with your iPhone, but this is not a normal problem. Everything else is accurate -- no FB, no Twitter, no YouTube, and very, very slow service and dropped connections on English-language websites.
