When a basketball sport has 2 minutes left, it appears to take about 30 minutes to play. I consider that is probably the most boring thing to watch, much more boring than golf. I also in finding the full period of a Nascar race to be totally boring (even the finish). I went to 1 are living in Sonoma, California and it used to be fairly excellent surely. It can be the type of Nascar race where it wasn't raced on an oval track, however more like a course.

King of the Hill on Netflix is pretty good. If you like the Simpsons, Futurama, etc. you should like King of the Hill. Also, I saw Star Trek listed but wanted to make sure you watched Enterprise. It's pretty good once you get into it. The Thing is really good. Carl Sagan's Cosmos. Workaholics is out there but okay. If you want some comedy, I highly recommend Mike Birbiglia's special on Netflix. Mystery Science Theater 3000 is funny and many episodes are old sci-fi.

EDIT: OK, well I'd still recommend giving The Legend of Korra a chance. I love both, but they are also very very different at the same time. The animation in Korra is incredibly amazing. There's a very good chance that you will still love Korra if you give it a chance.
