I loved the weeping angels, especially when we first saw them in "Blink"

I think what makes them creepy to me is their silence (ignoring that episode in season 5 of course)

Have always found any "silent" enemy extra creepy though, it is hard to explain why. I think it is because it adds an element of "mystery" and "atmosphere".

One of the scariest for me was "silence in the library" I loved the "Vashta Nerada" I will not say why, just in case you have not seen it but, this two part story was absolutely one of my all time favourites from the whole show. :)

yeah, as the others said theyre scary cuz you never actually see them moving. they just waitin u blink or turn around. if theyre on the books, any screen thats even more creepy. remember, any image of an angel becomes an angel. most pitiless, creepy, coldblooded killers in the show. Dont Even Blink !

They are the best monsters on the show, by far. What makes them scary is that you never actually see them in action. Their horror is always an unknown potentiality, frozen in front of you, just waiting for you to turn your back.

From the hot sequence it must be "hour of darkness". do not get me incorrect, i love "Blink" as an episode and picture it change into between the cleverest and scariest of the sequence, yet "hour of darkness" in simple terms took terror to a clean aspect. "hour of darkness" change into possibly the only scariest, maximum disconcerting and maximum uncomfortable to observe products of television i have ever considered, now to not educate on wellbeing care service Who. The scariest tale in the classic sequence for me change into truthfully the 2d wellbeing care service tale "the web of shock", which regrettably is now lost except for a unmarried episode. It change into the single which featured the total Intelligence placing a catch for the wellbeing care service and his companions in the London Undeground equipment, utilising it is Yeti robots and smothering fungus. "the web of shock" had a really darkish and claustrophobic ecosystem, with the fungus remaining in on the important characters from all aspects, reducing them off tube station by technique of tube station. It change into fairly the stuff of nightmares, and gave me undesirable desires for years as a baby. i imagine "hour of darkness is even scarier than that though - it has given me undesirable desires as an adult. So sure - commonly used scariest for me is "hour of darkness" My popular DW episode from the hot sequence is a tricky decision - Very close run component between the three area, sequence 4 finale "turn left / The Stolen Earth/adventure's end", "Human Nature/family contributors of Blood" and "Blink". My all-time popular though, continues to be the first wellbeing care service tale "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" - authentic gritty dystopian drama with outstanding performing from all in contact, different maximum iconic moments in the sequence historic previous and the quite shifting farewell scene on the precise for the medical doctors grand daughter Susan.
