Take something for granted in Spanish?

How would you say "take for granted" in Spanish,

like in the context: People take the little things in life for granted like the sun.

Could you also translate that sentence please?

    Take for grantyed is Dar por hecho. To assume is asumir.

    No tengo mucho tiempo Voy a escoger la mejor contestacion tan propnto aparezca .
