Why has the format of YA altered?

The old system was clear and easy to understand.

Therte is no 'submit' on the new system. Are Yahoo

deliberately trying to turn people away?

Of course there is a Submit in the new format - it would be pointless without it. Write your answer, then it is bottom right. If you can't see it it may just be off screen - scroll down to it.

I reckon it took me all of ten minutes to find my way round the new layout - it isn't that difficult if you just play about with it a bit.

They changed the site to be more like Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr to attract all those Chatters to sign up here....More users = more ad revenue.

No matter what they say it is Not Faster Better Simpler.

When the Submit button is not showing where you type your answer.........Look to the right of Add Media and you will see a small strip of Blue that is where the submit button should show.

Clicking that small strip will submit your answer

Another way is to hold down the Ctrl key and Click the minus key and it will show up. To return to the same font size just hold down the Ctrl key and click the + key.

Many users find it confusing and difficult to navigate,

Some things that will help with the new format...............

To see your Q&A on the new format, The easiest way is go to your home page

    http://answers.yahoo.com/

Beside your avatar there is the # of Points.. # of Best Answers ...# of Questions and # of Answers

Just click which of those you want to view they are links.

Your Q&A are not shown by pages anymore but by endless scrolling.

When you have questions you answered go to voting you get a notice on your home page saying "Your answered question is open for voting"

There is a MORE link and the options on there are -- Saved Searches-- My Network-- My Watchlist

On the ALL link the options are

    My Questions----My Answers---My Followed Questions-----My Network's Questions-------My Network's Answers--- My Network's Followed

For now you can switch to the old format, Go to http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/ it has all the same Q&A.

There is a video tutorial that will show you where things are on the new format.

It changed because Yahoo is updating all parts of their site so they look and function the same.

No, they aren't trying to drive people away. They know that we will either adjust, or leave. But many others will take our place.

There IS a "Submit" button, but some computers / browsers / systems have issues with it for some reason. Look to the RIGHT of the "Add Media" link. If you see a sliver of BLUE there, click it. That's the "Submit" button.

To fully expose it, try using CTRL and the MINUS key to shrink your font. You can then use CTRL and PLUS key to enlarge it again if you wish.

because they get more clicks for ad revenue.

I don't have a submit button on mobile - in fact I have NO button atall..it just sits there..so those who reckon it took them 10 minutes yay for them but it flat out does not work for me. People who assume because there's is fine everyone else's is as well don't know Yahoo and its pathetic glitches very well.
