Where are all the unsullied ( Major GOT spoilers ) - she has 8000 - so why were`nt they protecting her.?

SPOILER ALERT
A really large "queen's guard" force would have sent a wrong message. It would have looked like a militarized police force in Ferguson, MO. I can easily see her (or Hizdahr) pushing for just a token force, for appearances' sake. (There's also a suggestion that Hizdahr might have been associated with the Sons of the Harpy, and might have had that motivation for a small queen's guard.)

She had a small set of protecting her, but obviously no one was expecting an attack during that time. So likely most of them are still in barracks.
