Weeping Willow tree help ?

I'm moving house and there's a weeping willow tree in the garden, I've heard that you shouldn't have a tree like that close to your house and drains.

Also what's the best way to get it out?

Update:

The tree is too close to the house, therefore the roots could block the drains.

I don't have a problem with trees because there's other trees around.

    Before you do anything, ask an arborist his/her opinion about the location of the tree. He/she will advise you if the tree should be removed. Don't be so quick to remove the tree.

    Why shouldn't you have it? trees cool the air significantly, they produce oxygen, and they eliminate pollution, if anything you should want it there...
