PS4: What is error code: CE-35491-2?
Tried to play a DVD. I had been watching one, it ended, put in another (disc two of the same series box set). It tried to load, then again. Then the Options button flashed in the bottom left corner, then it tried to load again. Then a message came on screen saying: "Could not play disc. (CE-35491-2)"
I've tried to search this one down, did a seaerch on Playstations support website and on Google generally, and have found nothing on this particular error code. Customer Support suggested I try rebuilding the database, but it didn't work.
The disc itself is as new without a scratch on it.
Anyone know what this code is?

Some people have said that switching to another HDMI input and then back can fix this. Makes me think there might be some kind of HDMI handshake issue at play, maybe it isn't detecting the HDCP or something. Doesn't work for everyone, but worth a try. Yell at Sony about it though. I have a PS4 but use a a separate stand alone player for blu-ray and DVD.
Last time I tried Blu-ray on my PS4, almost a year ago, using 24hz output and DTS-HD Master audio, the audio was way out of sync. Their solution was to turn off 24hz output which defeats one of the main reasons I use Blu-ray, so their player doesn't seem to be the best. It didn't even support 3D for several months after release when PS3 had for some time.
