I just received a violation - Im overjoyed - is Community Moderation fixed or was it just a blip?

Update:

I normally get violations regularly - havent had any at all for Id say eight weeks so Im surprised to hear CM has been working sporadically

the violation I received was for an answer that I had bookmarked with a "." intending to return to it immediately with a cut and paste of an answer I had provided to a similar Q a few days ago

the violation was FAST - I received the email within sixty seconds of posting the "."

Update 2:

the appeal page opened and worked - naturally I didnt expect an appeal to be successful but I submitted it out of interest

seemed to go through just fine

    Yes. Ever since community moderation went down in late February, this site was filled with problematic postings that have yet to be removed since users reported them. Be lucky that it's just been fixed.

    I'm just now receiving Best Answer notifications---that were awarded me 10 years ago; that should answer your question.
