why do so many people hate on the new ghostbusters movie?

I have watched it and I personally thought it was great, why do so many people hate on it when they haven't even seen it?

I think a lot of venom came as a result of Leslie Jones' Twitter feud with the Breitbart guy. So all the Breitbart fans came out guns blazing on social media ripping the film before it even came out.

It wasn't great movie but it wasn't awful. Melissa McCarthy had some funny lines. Leslie Jones was just ok. The other two women not so good. Hemsworth was absolutely awful in a poorly written role.

I watched it was the worse remake ,putting women in this situation to replace the old gbstrs, was a horrible idea. Not one character worked, But if you had never seen the old movies, perhaps it could work, for me it was horrible, and for the rest of the country also. It made NO money, was a disaster finacially.

I have seen it, and was awful. Four people all trying to be the comic relief, and none of them were particularly funny.

I also found the plot extremely lazy and predictable.

I also thought Leslie Jones played a fairly racist stereotype black character.
