It's unlikely. There's no evidence of anything supernatural existing. At all. Every mystery that has ever been solved has turned out to be not magic. Every claim about the supernatural is just stuff people have imagined up. They are implausible at best, demonstrably false much of the time.
We know that our minds are the physical processes of our brains. Not some magical incorporeal essence. We know because of MRIs, EEGs, CT scans, and the effects of brain damage, from disease and injury. When a person dies, their brains stops being able to function. Biologically. They cease to exist.

These terms are just names for "something."
You'd have to experience it to understand it, but don't place so much importance on the names.
