Creationists: Why did God design invariable creatures to live in variable climates ?

We can now observe that the world has shifting climates, shifting landmasses even.

So what was the thought process of creating a specie with physical attributes suited for a particular climate, when it can change completely?

What is expected of this specie once that happens ? Was it God's plan just to let them die out due to it wreaking havoc on the eco-system ?

In the Arctic, we are losing 107 million km/2 of Ice each decade because of extreme changes in temperature.

What happens in 100 or so years when the climate becomes intolerable for it's normal inhabitants ?

Why didn't God account for this ?

God doesn't exist. Animals evolve to their environment due to natural selection.

A person can better comprehend the Infinite Mysteries of God by reciting daily and with care the angelic psalter of the Blessed Virgin.

    That is not a problem.

All that has ever been observed is Genesis 1:24 in action.

    Creation:

    1. From large gene pools

    2. That divide by migration and selection

    3. To change within Types

God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind (domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species) —livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what has always taken place.

All that has ever been truly and undoubtedly OBSERVED (Actual observation, not speculation is a major component of the valid scientific method) is what evolution scientists themselves call “subspeciation” (variation within kind-again meaning: (domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species)), never “transspeciation” Changes in gene frequency or two or more species from one kind is Genesis 1:24 in action since varying the amounts of already-existing genes is what creation is all about.

Some will phase out, some will continue because He set it up:

Examples of Genesis 1:24 in action:

In 1971 a group of lizards were relocated from the island of Pod Kopsite to Pod Mrcaru. Then in 2004 scientists began catching and testing the lizards from both islands. In 33 years the Pod Mrcaru group changed their diet from insects to plants, grew larger heads, and more powerful jaws. If that is not enough the Mrcaru group also developed a digestive structure called cecal valves that slow the passage of food through the animal. These cecal valves were not reported in any of the lizards from Kopsite.

:According to history books, the Island of Madeira was colonized by the Portuguese about 600 years ago. The colonizers brought with them a few unassuming European House Mice, which they accidentally left on the island. It’s also possible that a group of Portuguese House Mice was dropped off later on.

Recently, Britton-Davidian, an evolutionary biologist at University Montpellier 2 in France, decided to collect samples of the Madeira mice and see how those original populations had changed over time. What she found was surprising. Rather than just one or two species of mouse, she found several. In only a few hundred years, the original populations of Mice had separated into six genetically unique species. The first mouse populations had 40 chromosomes altogether. But the new ones were quite different. Each new variety had its own unique combination of chromosomes, which ranged in number from 22 to 30.

But we also know from the bible that the earth would suffer immeasurably until the redemption of creation

God created the mechanism called gravity.

God created the mechanism called evolution.

"Specie" is cash money. The word "species" is the same in the singular as in the plural like "sheep". One species, two species; one sheep, two sheep.

All species are evolving and will, given enough time, adapt to changing environments but if the change is too rapid and they cannot adapt, they become extinct.
