Everyone always hates on San Fransicko but how come Austin texas doesnt get its fair share of hate for being one of the crappiest cities?

Update:

ive lived in both places, both are equally shitty& equally liberal. so why does everyone give austin a pass

    i don't know anything about Austin but as a Bay Area resident i know SF all too well.
