Directv installation?
if you call to buy tv from directv do they install it the day after you call them? or do you have to wait a few days / week for their maintenance people / technicians to install it?

It usually takes a few days to get it installed. They should give you a time frame of when you can expect AT&T (or a contractor) to come and install the service for you.

Ive never heard of Directv selling tvs. But if they do, im sure theyre responsible for installing it.

They use independent contractors for the most part. So, it will depend on their schedule. They contact you to set up a time.

You may have to wait a few days, but so what?
It will depend on their workload and schedule.
I could not be paid enough to have either cable or satellite TV service.
