Can America Tourists visit North Korea?

    I think it's possible with a special pass but it's not recommended, it's a very dangerous place, even your hotel rooms are bugged and it's a ruthless dictatorship.

    Individuals cannot use a U.S. passport to travel to, in, or through North Korea without a special validation from the Department of State. Special Validations are granted only if it's in the US national interest to do so. Tourists are considered to be participating in activities at their own risk.

    Then my point is Why you shouldn't take the risk? :)

    You shouldn’t. Visit South Korea, Seoul is safe, basically the next Tokyo technology-wise.
