How can I  transfer old recorded tv shows from a flash drive to DVD using my lap top ?

 I am an old fart and wasn't brought up in the computer world. So please keep it simple if possible.

    To make a TV-viewable DVD you will need some sort of DVD creation software.  There are some cheap and free one's out there.  The simple ones let you add the clips and create a simple menu.

    Then you burn a DVD using the software.

    use dvd burning software (Nero or something like) it will have an option to write to DVD, make sure it's in a playable format.
