That defeat should never have happened. Spurs had a 2-0 lead and no away goals conceded. They just lost focus, and as soon as Zagreb pulled one goal back, that lead became a dangerous one.

sitting on thier laurels, wether that was the team or a Mourinho decision i'm not sure, but when the other side are threatening your goal, and you are not actively trying to threaten thiers, you're dancing on thin ice......
btw was class goals from Oric, was actually worth watching this game..

He's won more trophies than ole gunnar solskjaer though.
He's won multiple Premier League titles, hes won the Serie A and the La Liga and the Premera Liga in Porgugal not to mention the CL twice (2004 Porto and 2010 Inter).
I don't know who the BEST MANAGER in world football is right now but if hes not being compared to Mourinho, then Mourinho takes that title for me still.
For me hes the best manager in world football period, Jose is.

How things can come full circle. Remember when Ajax led on aggregate 3-0 and a hat trick by Lucas Moura sent Spurs through to the Champions League final?? Let's just say...Spurs pulled an Ajax. Torched thrice over by Orsic?! Really, Spurs?! I might declare this an honorary St. Totteringham's Day...
...and someone verify this part: I've heard Zagreb's manager was sacked and/or jailed before this match. If true, how embarrassing, Jose Mourinho. (Not all his fault, the players had a lot to with the choke too.)

That's why you call it trash until your at least in the semis, lmao, now everyone knows he tried desperately to win and failed. Failed to get to the QFs of a tourney previously won by f#cking Sarri and Lopetegui
Dinamo Zagreb, are you joking? Dinamo fooken Zagreb, it was their full strength team too with Kane and all those other guys nobody ever heard of, and couldn't even keep it competetive, geezus what a joke

Damn was just gonna ask about this, not gonna be long now until the Mourinhosaurus is sacked yet again. Tbf you need to be a damn miracle worker to make Spurs not sh*t but nobody forced him to take the job. Where is he even gonna go from here? He's basically blown his chances of ever getting a sniff at a top-tier job again by now after half a decade of failure, and he's too arrogant to take a mid table job. Maybe he'll go win the Portuguese league a buncha times and try to pass that off as some kind of major achievement, lol. He wanted the Portugal NT job in the past, but he's too classless and controversial to be given that, NT's don't want embarrasing manager antics and moaning.

this was a great chance at winning a trophy and winning CL football for next season, they bottled it as spurs always do.
Also I wouldn't blame Jose. He was massively let down by his players tonight. My only criticism is did he have to partner Dier and Sanchez, Alderweireld is much better than those shite players. The subs he made weren't bad when they were chasing a goal. Really let down by his players all they needed was one goal the whole game, they had chances to do it too
