Could you not train as a vegetarian chef and get a job in a vegetarian restaurant?

In a traditional French kitchen, there are 'cooks' that have specific duties, like a line cook, a sous chef, etc. And some 'cooks' do little more than prep work, so they would not be cooking 'meat stuff'.

Some kitchens are even more specific. For example, a cook on a cruise ship cooks One thing-in large quantities. One chef may cook beef, while another may cook lobster.

No. I knew I couldn't work in that horrific heat and stand on my feet for all those hours at a time.

Never wanted to work as a chef.  A pastry chef generally does not use meat.
