Does anyone have a Thermomix (and is the price justified)?
$2,400 for this appliance seems steep and I'm really curious if users think it's worth it. I've read the reviews (and watched the YouTube reviews + tutorials). Frankly, it looks complicated (to use and clean).
It's supposed to: cook, boil, simmer and stew; chop and mince meat, nuts, herbs and vegetables; blend; make yoghurt; mill rice, nuts and grains into flour; grind coffee, sugar and nuts; knead dough; whisk; grate; puree and crush. It can allegedly replace every kitchen gadget you own.
Really...?
Good to know we're all on the same page! Very expensive and complicated gadget that requires a paid subscription.

Their website says they have been offering the product since 1961 - so it's 60 year old technology. Looks to me like it could be replaced by an Instant Pot, a sous vide circulator and a Blender Food processor combination. That's about $325.00. They also employ direct sales people so you buy from a commissioned agent. In my opinion, no way.

99% of what you can do in a kitchen, can be done with a Chef's knife. This kind of stuff is Pointless.

No, I don't have one, and never will. $2400 for that? I'm sure it can do all those things, but if you wanted to have it do several of the functions that can go into making one dish or meal, you'd probably have to clean it three times while making one dish or meal, or buy three of the gadget. If I use it to grind coffee, it's going to need a good clean before I can use it to make yogurt. Doesn't look all that useful, on the whole, which is usually the case with kitchen gadgets. Okay, it can knead, but does it have the capacity to knead enough dough to make one loaf of bread? Doesn't appear to.
