  • Are the police responsible , for your property?

My cousin , returned home after a night out to find her front door had been broken in . The police followed her in and arrested her , It turns out the girl who lived at the address before her , was using stolen credit cards to by stuff and was using the address to deliver to .

During the time my cousin was in the police station , someone went into her flat and stole her stuff , the police had not secured the front door , so it had just been left .

Is there a complaints procedure . does anyone know how to go about it , she can not afford a solicitor as she is on a very low income.

There were no charges bought against her , as the Police got the girl who previously lived there , and she put her hands up to fraud .

  • Do you want more?...Goop's?

    Something in the forest

There were shadows in the forest,

    And things we didn't know,

    Dark and scary places,

Where we knew we shouldn't go.

But you knew that wouldn't stop us,

We were having to much fun,

If there was something hiding there,

We thought that we could run.

    But running wasn't good enough,

To get us out of there,

Whatever caught up with my friend,

    Was bigger than a Bear.

    They never ever found him,

Just a shoe and bit's of bone,

And of the beast that took him,

    No-more was ever known.

So if you go into the forest,

    Always take great care,

    Whatever took my friend away,

    Might still be living there.

  • Any comments welcome?

Can you believe your eyes "

    I thought I saw a Tiger,

    Perhaps it was a cat,

    And then a pteradactyl,

Well it might have been a bat.

    Then I saw a dragon,

I saw it in the park,

It turned into a fallen tree,

    When it wasn't dark.

    All these scary animals,

    And lion ,Wolf and Bear,

But when I look a second time,

    They're never really there.

I wonder what's outside my door,

Should I go and have a peep,

Or pull the covers up some more,

It's time to go to sleep.

  • All Works From Goop's are Originals by Goop's?

    Early Morning People

    Hello - Good morning,

    They usually say,

    Never much more,

    Then on their way.

    They don't stop or dally,

    But might nod or wink,

    Have you seen them before,

    It does make you think.

    Then there's the others,

    Who just pass you by,

    They seem to ignore you,

    Well maybe they're shy.

    However----Wherever,

    Whenever you see,

    Astranger just smile,

    It might just be me.

  • Here's another one from Goop's (for your amusement .)?

" Ned Of The Bridge "

    The mist started lifting,

    The air getting warm,

    Clouds of little midges,

    Were starting to swarm.

    He stood on the bridge,

    Watching the stream,

    The sunrise behind him,

    Was starting to beam.

    I saw the old man,

    Most every week,

    I always waved,

    He never did speak.

    Then after the winter,

    He failed to show,

    I asked the bailiff,

    I thought he would know.

He gave me a look ,

    Said "You must mean Ned"

    "I'm sorry mate",

    "He's long since been dead".

    "He died on the bridge",

    "Where you saw him stand",

"Not a bad way to go",

"With your rod in your hand".

  • "Little Book "?

    "Little Book "

    Underneath the tree it was,

The thing that we could see,

It made no sound and didn't move,

    Whatever could it be ?

We stood and watched for ages,

To see if it would go.

We asked a man who came along,

    He said he didn't know.

    Then it started raining,

So we ran to have a look,

And in the shelter,of the tree,

    We found this "Little Book",

    Which Read

    Underneath the tree it was,

The thing that we could see,

It made no sound and didn't move,

    Whatever could it be ?

  • Here's a spooky poem?

    " Old Bill "

    Standing in the water,

    Quite and still,

    When a voice from behind,

    "Ello","My name's Bill.

    I tried to ignore,

What I thought I had heard,

'twas the time of dawn chorus,

    It must be a bird.

    You've caught some nice fish,

    The voice sounding cold,

    I used to fish here,

    When I was old.

    The voice and the words,

    Were making me shiver,

So I turned 'round to speak,

And looked up from the river.

    But there on the bank,

    As if in thin air,

    "Old Bill " was gone,

    There was nobody there
