“Here” seems to be most often listed as an adverb, but in this sentence it’s modifying the presence (ie a noun) so is it an adjective in this instance? So confused...

That staggers me. That’s 80% the population size of Australia.

Conservatives said that once Trump was out of office, the illegals would come pouring in by the truckload. It’s only been just over 2 months and we were right. I didn’t expect it to happen this quickly.

I didn’t vote for Trump and am not defending everything that he did, but I watched the speech and couldn’t see anything that he said to incite violence. He actually called for a peaceful demonstration and most at the rally did just that. It was only a small subset who stormed the Hill.

It causes such divided opinion. I am generally neutral on it, but most tend to either be really pro or anti.

The left started this by refusing to accept Trump’s won in 2016, and now the right are continuing it. 

Why can’t we just respect everyone’s right to an opinion and forget our differences.

I am an independent so don’t have a dog in this race.

I am an independent voter; I have voted for both sides equally in the past. Unlike most people, I don’t love or hate Trump. I think he did some good and some bad. The last President that I really “liked” was Reagan. I like Biden no more or less than Trump. I also don’t really identify as a conservative or liberal; I am right in the middle.

I voted for Biden this time mainly because of the BLM protesters. I thought that they would stop causing mayhem if Biden won, and that people would stop being so hostile. Now it seems that the Democrats are going to start silencing anyone with a dissenting conservative opinion. Freedom of speech is my number one issue and I am scared that it may be compromised, if these early signs pretend anything.

I just wished I had stayed out of the election altogether.

Before anyone attacks me for being Islamophobic and all the nonsense, just look at all the Christian countries around the world, and the sole Jewish country in Israel. They are democracies, nobody is treated as second class citizens and women are allowed to vote, drive and it's not legal to slaughter converts, adulterers (and alleged at that) and gays. Contrast that to all the Muslim countries (of course notable exceptions like Indonesia and Turkey) which are dictatorships, women are owners by their fathers and husbands, can't drive and vote, and gays and converts are killed by law.
