Can a Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine interval be stretched from 3-4 weeks to 4 months and still be effective?
I'm concerned at the lack of testing or trials to back the decision in Canada to delay the second dose to 4 months. Is significant protection lost by receiving the second dose at 4 months rather than 3-4 weeks? Should protection still be the same after second dose, regardless of when the first dose was given?
6 days agoMicropenis Threshold?
So my friend has a small penis and was wondering what exactly is the cut-off point for having a micro-penis? My friend is far too terrified to Google image search this and I can't either for entirely different reasons. I feel bad for him because my penis is extremely large and very satisfying to women and definitely works perfectly all the time, so I wanted to help him answer this question. He says that if he's at least a little above the threshold it might make him feel better.
Also, who is the piece of **** Doctor that coined the term "micro-penis" and why is it even considered a medical issue? Under what circumstances would a doctor even diagnose this issue? What does that conversation sound like? Is the doctor held responsible when the patient immediately punches him in the face upon receiving this diagnosis? These are all things my friend is curious about.
Thank you for reading, and again, just to be clear,my penis is huge and wonderful.

1 Answer7 days agoWhat should I expect when I go to get my Covid shot?
I assume there will be lots of crowding, people not socially distancing, not wearing their masks properly, some might be coughing, so I should take a good dose of Valium before I go, but what about after I get my shot? What's this I hear about being placed into some monitoring room? I won't be able to leave right away?

5 Answers7 days agoHealth is failing. ?
So my health is failing. I have several terrible symptoms like nose bleeds and migraines that intersect with each other. Other symptoms include body aches, degenerative disk and the list goes on. It's a struggle to get out of bed each morning and I can feel it getting worse each day. I don't sleep and when I don't I don't recover. I've been to several doctors who have tried to diagnose me and we always go through the same routine, medication then treatment then surgery. It's at the point where the doctors and specialists no longer know what to say or diagnose and I no longer know what to do. I've had brain scans, xrays, mris, and the works but they can't find anything. I'm unsure where to turn next. I certainly didn't think it would be a yahoo board but I'm trying. The simple truth seems to be that my body is breaking down and there's no explanation. I'm in my 20s and I don't understand. I've made sure to eat healthy and exercise and stay away from bad habits. Definitely not looking for a cure here but any thoughts?

that isn’t a medical doctor. I’m just worrying about dealing with cadavers in med school. What are other well paying careers I can do with that experience

1 Answer1 week agoDo SSRI drugs such as Sertraline make you smarter in the long run?
Hello,
SSRI drugs such as Sertraline, Fluoxetine, etc. increase BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) much like physical activity. BDNF plays important roles in higher processes such as learning, memory and abstract thinking. So, this means that both physically exercise and SSRIs will enhance your productivity and possibly your intelligence and social skills?
Thanks!
1 Answer1 week agoCan you have kidney disease with normal labs and ultrasound?
I've had consistently normal labs (eGFR > 90, creatinine < 1.05, BUN < 15, no protein in urine, normal CBC), and an abdominal ultrasound that showed normal kidneys with normal cortical thickness. Add to that I'm asymptomatic, age 40, male, healthy weight, no diabetes or any health problems. I had the ultrasound for another reason.
Is it still possible to have CKD with normal labs and ultrasound?
Note that I'm not asking for a diagnosis - it's just a general question.

8 Answers1 week agoIs it possible that many people will experience blood clots or other severe reactions months after taking the Covid vaccine?
Right now they say it's a rare side effect, but maybe it's only rare for it to show up within 2 weeks.
