Has anyone else got an urge to read Poirot and Miss Marple stories this week?

Hehehe...kinda, yeah - get into the period. Although having said that, I didn't read any Shakespeare ahead of the Shakespeare Code (though more of that is embedded in my brain, I suppose). Got a favourite? I loved the ABC murders, and A Murder Is Announced. Really enjoyed The Mysterious Mr Quinn too - that was relatively off-the-wall...Oh God, I've just talked myself into a craving now...The Blue Train...Sleeping Murder...Nemesis...

And Spacephantom wins the prize for weird but relevant...

Personally I preferred Marple to Poirot, but liked Tommy and Tuppence Beresford the best. Got into the books in Primary 7 when I was stuck indoors for the Easter holidays with chicken pox, so I read a LOT of stuff to get my mind off the interminable itch.

No, but I have been reading some interesting stuff about Agatha Christie's disappearance for 11 days in 1926, however. Apparently a giant wasp was involved and Ms Christie was saved by a man in a blue box and a woman with ginger hair who occasionally sounds a bit like Frankie Howard when saying the word "no".
