Why do some of my answers disappear from Yahoo Answers?

I have spent ages trying to come up with quality answers for people. I have researched them and included links to references etc. Yet some of my answers disappear from the list of answers against various questions. None of my questions have been offensive or have broke Yahoo rules so how and why are some of my answers disappearing. If they are getting deleted by someone, they surely I would receiving a email from Yahoo informing of that and the reason for the deletion ? What is odd is that the questions still appear in "My Q&A" even though my answer has been removed. I have emailed Yahoo Answers team about this twice but they have not replied to my query. Can anyone shed any light on this ? Much appreciated

I have started looking at your answers.

One question I saw, Windows xp laptop help?, has no answer from you, but of course I cannot see what you wrote.

I have seen other questions similar to yours, and the general consensus is that somebody has misinterpreted what you have written.

My personal opinion, as a fellow newbie trying to do the right thing, is that your excellent answers have triggered some envy.

It is unfortunate that you do not get a chance to respond to this. All I would say is:

If you do have copies of what you wrote, please post a specific question with the original question (or a link to it if it is long) and your answer.

Whatever you do, please do not give up. I for one appreciate what you are contributing here.

You are not the only person who is having this issue. Others have asked about it as well. It is obviousy some type of glitch. Either the answers are not appearing in the list, even though posted, or the question is not being removed, even though your answer was removed. While you normally should get notice, there are times when the emails either go to your spam folder - or don't go out at all. I suggest you hit the Suggestion Board on the ABOUT tab, see if anybody is posting about 'disappearing answers' there and add your information - or post for yourself as a BUG there. Include information about your system and browser details, as they may be relevant. Same if you use a phone to post, as THAT may also be part of the issue.

No i'd be in eternal hell, life does not be properly worth residing whats the element if there's no solutions..... merely kidding if there have been no solutions i'd would desire to bypass someplace else, like church
