Is it possible to freeze pancake batter?

I got more than I can eat in a day; and as I don't want it to go past it's use by date, I was wondering if it was possible to freeze it for a week or so.

Update:

Don't have a microwave, so I would have to heat the pancakes in a fan oven; any advice on the temperature and length of time I should leave them in at?

    Once you add a leavening agent it would be better not to freeze.

    Why not make all the pancakes then freeze the pancakes. During the week you can place a few on a plate a pat of butter and a few seconds in the microwave and you will have a nice hot breakfast.

    If you have sausage today make a few more and wrap the pancake around the sausage link and you have a "pig in a blanket" for a fast breakfast.

  • Milk and eggs will not curdle when frozen and or thawed. But your batter will not be as fuffy s well when frozen and thawed.

    Instead make up all the pancakes and freeze those.

    ****Do you have a toaster? Use that.

    I would say it was unsafe to freeze pancake batter because of the ingredients being eggs.and milk they could curdle when defrosted or the eggs could go off in the mix.

    Yes you can...l do it quite often with Yorkshire Pudding mixture which is basically the same thing.
