ok so Nicholas Cage isnt a brilliant actor .. even so, what was he thinking signing up for "Left Behind"?

Update:

I quite enjoyed "Hudson Hawk" - had the same lovely comedy elements as "Moonlighting" which is what made Bruce in the first place

    Yeah, he's broke.

    He was caught having not paid taxes for years, so is major debt to the IRS.

    Which is why he takes pretty much any job these days.

    The thing is, he IS a good actor. He won an OSCAR. But he has to take these terrible jobs and not do a great job on them because he has that major debt to clear.

    We will never know why a Dustin Hoffman made an Ishtar or or a Sylvester Stallone made Tango and Cash or a Bruce Willis made a Hudson Hawk.
